S Волка (лат. S Lupi), HD 131169 — одиночная переменная звезда[1][2][3][4] в созвездии Волка на расстоянии (вычисленном из значения параллакса) приблизительно 3456 световых лет (около 1060 парсеков) от Солнца. Видимая звёздная величина звезды — от +13,5m до +7,8m[5].
Характеристики
S Волка — красная пульсирующая переменная S-звезда[6][7][8][9], мирида (M)[10][11][12][13] спектрального класса Se[5][14][15][16] или Np[17]. Эффективная температура — около 3294 K[18].
