| Описание | This is the proposed logo for the proposed Toki Pona Wikipedia. The unusual inclusion of the word "lipu" before the word "Wikipesija" is because in Toki Pona a proper word can only be an adjective, not a noun; to refer to something just as "Wikipesija" is thus ungrammatical. Taken together, the name and the tagline form a complete sentence, literally translating back as "the book Wikipesija is a book of knowledge for all people" (the closest approximation of "free encyclopedia" possible in Toki Pona).
I've done my best to comply with visual identity guidelines while maintaining the rules of Toki Pona grammar, but if anyone can think of a better way to place the "lipu", please let me know. |
