| Описание | A view of the first Reynolds Arcade building on Main Street, showing signs, automobiles and pedestrians. The building was the site of the post office from 1829-1891, and Western Union and Bausch & Lomb had their starts here. Numerous shops and offices were located at the arcade and many thought of it as a town within a town. This view shows the arcade shortly before it was demolished in May of 1932. It was replaced by a new Art Deco office building, also named Reynolds Arcade. |
