LR61 cells are similar in size (3mm shorter) and identical in voltage to AAAA (LR8D425) cells. AAAA cells are sometimes used in small devices like laser pointers and some remote controls. LR61 cells can be used in place of proper AAAAs and should function just as well. Although care should be taken with the difference in length and the lack of polarity markings on the cells themselves. |
