| Описание | Diagram of a CODAG propulsion system. Note that this diagram is purely schematic, a real gear and clutch layout would be different, e.g. usually the reduction and crossconnect gearbox would be combined to one, and also some CODAG systems have three gear ratios for diesel engine: one for single diesel, one for double diesel and one for combined gas and diesel mode of operation. For double diesel operation, the not needed crossconnect gearbox would be disengaged with clutches, those have been left out from the image. |
